- **Usage:** This data is used to provide more granular elevation changes (like climbing stairs or hiking) which GPS alone may miss.
- **Privacy Assurance:** This data is processed entirely on your device and is not shared with us or any third parties.

## 3. Data Storage and Retention
Max Altitude is designed to be privacy-first.
- **Local Settings:** Application preferences (such as unit measurements, theme choices, and last known altitude) are stored locally on your device using standard iOS persistence methods (UserDefaults).
- **No Cloud Sync:** We do not sync your data to any cloud servers. If you delete the app, your local settings are removed.

Max Altitude does not integrate with any third-party analytics (like Google Analytics, Mixpanel) or advertising networks (like AdMob, Facebook Audience Network). We do not track your usage behavior.
